Binance’s $1 Million Project: Blockchain for Vietnam

Binance has unveiled a $1 million project called ‘Blockchain for Vietnam’, which is scheduled to be implemented from July 2025 to July 2027. This two-year initiative is designed to facilitate Vietnam in advancing its blockchain technology by focusing investments in education, industry use, and student funding.

Blockchain Implementation in Major Sectors

Within the framework of the program, Binance will collaborate with local partners to roll out pilot projects to apply blockchains within a real-world context. The focus areas are agriculture and tourism, which are two of the major economic drivers in Vietnam. These efforts will show how blockchain will make operations transparent and efficient.

The program is also geared towards developing a workforce by providing students interested in blockchain with funding. Academic aid and scholarships will also be opened to undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral scholars, with the aim of creating a pool of local talents who can assume positions in blockchain technology and related fields.

Continued Presence and Education Assistance in Vietnam

Binance has participated in Vietnam through its charitable wing, Binance Charity. This includes historical disaster relief, medical assistance during the COVID-19 pandemic, and improving access to clean water in the Mekong Delta, reflecting the company’s ongoing relationship with Vietnamese communities.

Moreover, Binance Academy has also contributed to blockchain education in Vietnam, offering programs in over 60 colleges across 18 cities. This initiative has been pivotal in nurturing local talent and enthusiasm for blockchain among students, programmers, and researchers.
