US President Donald Trump harshly criticizes FED Chairman Jerome Powell at every opportunity. Previously referring to Powell as an idiot, Trump reiterated this sentiment and targeted Powell again.

Trump condemns Powell’s interest rate policies, arguing that the economy is strong and that interest rate cuts are necessary. He emphasizes the need for aggressive cuts to stimulate the economy, while Powell insists on maintaining current rates due to concerns about inflation and tariff-induced instability.

In a recent speech, Trump expressed his disdain for Powell, labeling him as “a very stupid person” with a “low IQ” for his role. Trump argued that the current policies will cost the country significantly, pointing out that higher rates could result in an additional $900 billion per year in debt.

Moreover, Trump revealed that he has candidates in mind to replace the Fed Chair, mentioning he has already conducted interviews with three or four potential replacements.
