Ronin Launches on OpenSea
Ronin is finally live on OpenSea, allowing users to trade and launch Ronin-based NFTs more easily than ever.
Developers can now build on an open Ronin network with tools that simplify game and NFT project creation.
Ronin is now live on OpenSea! Previously exclusive to collectibles like Axie Infinity, the blockchain network now facilitates trading and launching of NFTs on the world’s largest marketplace.
Users can sell, buy, and create Ronin-based NFTs directly on OpenSea. The process is user-friendly, even for those with no coding experience.

Users can launch their NFT collections via OpenSea Studio with just a Ronin wallet and a small amount of RON for gas fees—similar to setting up an online store without needing coding skills. Devin Finzer, CEO of OpenSea, noted:
> “Integrating Ronin expands OpenSea’s reach into web3 gaming, giving OS2 users access to the Ronin ecosystem. We’re excited to be part of the blockchain gaming future.”
Claim Free NFTs and Fast-Track with Ronin
To celebrate the launch, Ronin and OpenSea offer two free NFTs named “Jin” and “Ronke,” available until Saturday, March 29. Just connect your Ronin wallet to OpenSea to claim them.
This move promotes accessibility and inclusivity. Previously, Ronin NFTs were somewhat restrictive, but they now offer new opportunities for creators free from technical barriers.
From Invite-Only to Open Access: Ronin Goes Permissionless
On February 12, 2025, Ronin transitioned to a permissionless model, allowing anyone to join without an invite. This change was supported by the launch of the Ronin Developer Console, which simplifies game, dApp, or DeFi project development.
This tool speeds up project launches by minimizing initial construction efforts, potentially leading to a surge in new gaming experiences.
Manage Digital Assets Right From Your Browser
In line with enhancing user experience, the beta version of the Ronin Web Wallet allows asset management directly from a browser. This means users can check balances and conduct transactions without additional software.
The web wallet aims to lower barriers, particularly for users in developing regions where browser use prevails over dedicated wallet apps. This makes the NFT and blockchain gaming spaces more accessible.
Network Upgrade Completed Without Trading Disruptions
All progress came alongside technical processes. On March 17, 2025, Ronin performed a hard fork, temporarily halting token deposits and withdrawals while trading could proceed normally. Binance supported this transition, ensuring the network’s swift return to stability.
As of now, RON trades at approximately $0.8082, reflecting a 1.55% increase over the last 7 days but a 28.76% decrease over the past month.
