SharpLink Gaming Announcement
SharpLink Gaming (SBET), backed by Ethereum co-founder Joseph Lubin, recently filed a document with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to raise $5 billion in new capital for Ethereum acquisitions.
Public Offering Update
SharpLink Gaming, traded on the Nasdaq under the symbol “SBET,” has updated its offering agreement, increasing its public offering from $1 billion to $6 billion. The new prospectus supplement permits the company to sell an additional $5 billion of shares through AGP/Alliance Global Partners.
Sales and Future Plans
The company reported sales of approximately $720 million under the previous agreement and may sell an additional $279 million. The $5 billion from the new arrangement is expected to support Ethereum investments.
