Wyoming’s Upcoming Stablecoin Launch
The state of Wyoming is gearing up to launch its long-planned stablecoin in the coming months, according to Governor Mark Gordon, who spoke at the DC Blockchain Summit on Wednesday. The state is targeting a potential July debut following a testing period.
The stablecoin, first proposed via a state bill in February 2022, will be powered by LayerZero and will operate across multiple chains, including Ethereum, Solana, Avalanche, and Ethereum scaling networks like Base, Polygon, Arbitrum, and Optimism.
