XRP Price Analysis
XRP’s price dropped following a sell signal from the TD Sequential indicator on the daily chart. The cryptocurrency is currently trading at $2.6433, marking a 3.08% decline. Analysts suggest that this signal could indicate a trend reversal, putting key support levels at risk.
Market analyst Ali noted that the TD Sequential’s sell setup follows a nine-candle sequence, a typical signal for a slowdown or correction. Traders are now closely watching if XRP can maintain its support levels or face further declines.
Key Technical Levels and Market Structure
XRP struggles to break through the $2.76 to $2.80 barriers, where previous rejections occurred. Bulls may face hurdles if the price attempts a comeback near this resistance area.
Key support levels for XRP are at $2.60, with stronger positions found between $2.50 and $2.45. If these support areas are breached, analysts predict a decline to $2.20 to $2.00. Breaking below the rising wedge pattern confirms a bearish market outlook.
The 4-hour chart indicates a rising wedge pattern, suggesting future price downtrends. Following a previous bearish pattern breakout, the technical analysis indicates that prices could drop to $2.00 – $1.80.
More Investors at Risk of Being Priced Out
A recent report by Edoardo Farina, founder of Alpha Lions Academy, highlights that rising market values make it challenging for investors to stay invested in XRP tokens.
A few months ago, 3,000 XRP constituted a position among the top 10% of holders, costing investors $1,500. Currently, to be in the top 10%, investors must acquire 2,500 XRP, worth $6,500.
Farina predicts that the continuous rise in XRP value threatens to create holding issues for 95% of existing investors. However, long-term investors stand to profit when XRP reaches high valuation levels.
Technical Indicators Data
Market indicators reveal that the RSI currently holds at 37.54, indicating it is nearing oversold conditions. A drop below 30 could signal further potential overselling, possibly leading to brief upward changes.

The Money Flow Index (MFI) shows 32.45, reflecting weak market buying activity. A price dropping below 25 – 20 may demonstrate strong selling pressure, leading to a potential brief market rebound.
The current open interest (OI) for XRP is $1.9 billion, with $1.8 billion in perpetual contracts and $4.1 million in futures contracts. Over the last 24 hours, total OI has declined by 3.45%, largely due to a 3.46% drop in perpetual contracts, while futures contracts have increased slightly by 1.65%.
Decreases in open interest indicate that market participants are closing positions and exiting. This reflects that short-term traders are taking profits and reducing market exposure through perpetual contracts, potentially leading to decreased market volatility in the near future.
